The heat exchanger manufactured by Shanghai Empire Mechanical Engineering Co., Ltd. is a reliable and efficient solution for heat transfer between two fluids. It consists of a pack of corrugated metal plates with portholes for the passage of the fluids. The plate pack is assembled between a fix frame plate and a movable pressure plate, which are compressed by tightening bolts. The plates are fitted with a gasket that seals the channels and directs the fluids into alternate channels.
Designed to optimize heat transfer, the corrugated plates provide a large surface area through which the heat can be drawn from one fluid to the other. This leads to efficient heat transfer in a compact equipment with a small footprint. Compared to traditional shell-and-tube heat exchangers, our gasketed plate-and-frame heat exchangers (GPHEs) are much smaller and more efficient.
