Plate Testing


Shanghai Empire Mechanical Engineering Co., Ltd. offers efficient plate testing solutions to ensure the quality and integrity of your plates.


Corrugation Depth Testing


Our plate testing process begins with the measurement of corrugation depth, also known as the free channel. Using the best digital displayer micrometer, we meticulously test 32 sites on each plate to accurately determine the depth of the corrugation.

To identify any cracks in the plate, we employ the dye check method. One side of the plate is sprayed with a white display agent, while the other side is sprayed with a red penetrant. If the penetrant passes through the plate and the side with the display agent is dyed red, it indicates the presence of a ***. This simple yet efficient method allows us to quickly detect any cracks in the plate.
