The channels of our Clip6 PHE plates are formed between the plates, creating a complete counter-current flow for optimal heat transfer. The corrugation of the plates enhances turbulence, further improving heat transfer efficiency. The corner ports are arranged so that the two media flow through alternate channels, maximizing the effectiveness of the heat transfer process.
We can provide various PHE plates for all makes and models, and we can also make plate molds according to customer requirements. Our plates are compatible with popular brands such as AL, GEA, Tranter, Sondex, Funke, Thermowave, and APV. Our plate testing process begins with the measurement of corrugation depth, also known as the free channel. Using the best digital displayer micrometer, we meticulously test 32 sites on each plate to accurately determine the depth of the corrugation.
To identify any cracks in the plate, we employ the dye check method. One side of the plate is sprayed with a white display agent, while the other side is sprayed with a red penetrant. If the penetrant passes through the plate and the side with the display agent is dyed red, it indicates the presence of a ***. This simple yet efficient method allows us to quickly detect any cracks in the plate.
