The heat exchanger from Shanghai Empire Mechanical Engineering Co., Ltd. is a compact and efficient solution for heat transfer between two fluids. It consists of a pack of corrugated metal plates with portholes for the passage of the fluids. The plate pack is assembled between a fixed frame plate and a movable pressure plate, which are compressed by tightening bolts. The plates are fitted with a gasket that seals the channels and directs the fluids into alternate channels.
Designed for optimal heat transfer, the plate corrugations promote fluid turbulence and support the plates against differential pressure.
