Plate Testing


Shanghai Empire Mechanical Engineering Co., Ltd. offers high-quality plate testing services to ensure the efficiency and reliability of your plates.



Corrugation Depth Testing


Our plate testing process begins with a thorough examination of the corrugation depth, also known as the free channel. Using a micrometer with a digital displayer, we meticulously test 32 sites on the plate to determine the corrugation depth. This precise measurement allows us to assess the plate's performance and identify any potential issues.



Plate *** Testing


To detect plate cracks, we employ a simple and efficient method called dye check. First, we spray a display agent (white) on one side of the plate. Then, we spray a penetrant (red) on the other side. If the penetrant passes through the plate and the side with the display agent is dyed red, it indicates the presence of a ***. This method ensures accurate detection of cracks, enabling timely repairs and maintenance.
