Corrugation Depth Testing


Our plate testing process begins with a thorough examination of the corrugation depth, also known as the free channel. Using a high-precision micrometer with a digital displayer, we meticulously test 32 different sites on the plate. This allows us to accurately measure the corrugation depth and ensure optimal performance.

Cracks in plates can lead to significant issues and compromise their functionality. To detect any cracks, we employ a reliable method called dye check. Here's how it works:



  1. We spray a display agent (white) on one side of the plate.

  2. The other side of the plate is sprayed with a penetrant (red).

  3. If the penetrant passes through the plate and the side with the display agent is dyed red, it indicates the presence of a ***.


This simple yet efficient method allows us to quickly identify any cracks in the plate, ensuring its structural integrity and preventing potential issues.
