The Heat Exchanger is a compact and efficient equipment that consists of a pack of corrugated metal plates with portholes for the passage of two fluids. It is designed to provide efficient heat transfer in a small footprint, making it much smaller and more efficient than traditional shell-and-tube heat exchangers.
The plate pack is assembled between a fixed frame plate and a movable pressure plate, which are compressed by tightening bolts. The plates are fitted with a gasket that seals the interpolate channel and directs the fluids into alternate channels.
