Corrugation Depth Testing



Our plate testing process begins with a thorough examination of the corrugation depth, also known as the free channel. Using a micrometer with a digital displayer, we meticulously test 32 sites on the plate. This precise measurement allows us to determine the depth of the corrugation, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

To identify any cracks in the plate, we employ a simple and efficient method known as dye check. One side of the plate is sprayed with a display agent (white), while the other side is sprayed with a penetrant (red). If the penetrant passes through the plate and the side with the display agent becomes dyed red, it indicates the presence of a ***. This reliable testing method ensures the structural integrity of the plate, preventing potential issues and ensuring safety.
