The heat exchanger provided by Shanghai Empire Mechanical Engineering Co., Ltd. is a highly efficient and versatile piece of equipment designed for optimal heat transfer. It consists of a pack of corrugated metal plates with portholes for the passage of two fluids, facilitating heat transfer between them.

The plate pack is assembled between a fixed frame plate and a movable pressure plate, which are compressed by tightening bolts. The plates are fitted with a gasket that seals the channels and directs the fluids into alternate channels. The number of plates is determined by factors such as flow rate, physical properties of the fluids, pressure drop, and temperature program.

These gasketed plate-and-frame heat exchangers provide efficient heat transfer in a compact equipment with a small footprint. They are much smaller and more efficient than traditional shell-and-tube heat exchangers. The corrugated plates in our heat exchangers promote fluid turbulence, ensuring maximum heat transfer efficiency.

Our heat exchangers offer numerous benefits, including precision heat transfer with a closer approach temperature and true counter current flow.
